He is called a Red-Eye Tree Frog.
This little fella is living a spoiled life in Niagara Falls, ON. Canada.
Pretty far away from his native land in Costa Rica.
Cool Dude(New)
Like a tigress at the waterfalls,
Her stripes are her foliage walls,
The roaring sounds of the waterfalls,
The Tigress footsteps dulls.
The unsuspecting prey falls,

Gentle Caress
Standing twenty feet tall.
Long neck, bent slender,
Standing five feet small,
Caressing gently, tender
Wildlife, in all Splendor.
Loving is universal,
Like a mysterious parcel,
Deep love is Spiritual,
Passionate love, Unpredictable.
True love, Unexplainable.
But love is there to find.
Once we do, it bind.

LION'S ROAR
In the jungle, a lion's roar,
Loud rumbling from it's core.
Magnificent mane of golden brown,
He is a king but wears no crown.
Predator and enemy they have two,
Human hunters, Hyenas too.
The lion and his lioness pride,
If you cross them, run, don't hide.
The roar of a Lion,
The rolling sound of thunder,
The chase of a Lion,
His prey runs asunder.
The Lion's roar is his symbol,
Of Strength, Of Leadership, Of pride,
The raw Roar sound is tribal,
His pride, so true, abide.

We Get What We Pay
Wildlife and Nature,
Documentary feature,
Can we be mature?
Don't kill, but nurture?
Where trees do grow,
Millions of year ago,
Where animals roam,
The lands and tombs,
Where fishes lay,
Their eggs may stay,
There will be a day,
We get what we pay.

Nature
nature is full of colors
with beautiful scented flowers
if your'e in a forest or a park
its nice even in the dark
nature is full of beasts and birds
with so many shrubs and ferns
its mountains are very high
they almost touch the sky
nature has its deserts
and nature has its plains
at times its sunny
sometimes it rains
nature is so pretty and bountiful
with snow covered peaks and sounds so beautiful
when people destroy nature, remember
we need nature for our future.

AN EAGLE'S LIFE
An Eagle soars high above,
Skimming seas, lakes and cove,
Piercing, sharp, an Eagle's eye,
Swooping down, did spy,
Swimming trout en route,
Mother Nature's food.
She swooped down and without a doubt,
The majestic eagle has just caught a trout.
With one swipe, her claw did grab,
A fleshy trout, hardly a flap.

Sea Otter, Name is Sue,
Hunting in the ocean blue.
Octopus, Squids, Sea Urchins and Fish,
Cockles, Clams, Crabs and Shellfish.
Smashing with rock on her furry chest,
A meal so tasty, What a fest!
Back floating, posture, serene reposes,
She eats, plays, She sleeps, dozes.
She mates and gives birth, sea waters,
Baby on back, she trains and nurtures.
Anchor in a forest of kelp,
Swirling seas, a dire need, help.
2000 remained, 20th Century distinction,
Hunted to a point of near extinction,
Precious furs, Priced possession,
Hunter, Human, One explanation.
Survival now, protected by law,
200000 now, only one flaw,
Greed driven hunting,
Unscrupulous poaching,
Still rears its ugly head,
Help stop it, dead.

ReplyDeleteHello Fred Kids,
ReplyDeletePoetry, like Art is an expression of your thoughts on a different level. Do you agree that a well written poetry or an Art that has depth invokes emotions to the reader or viewer?
Both equally powerful mediums to tease the human mind literary and visually.
Thanks for dropping by.
